Welcome HOME to Elwood CENTRAL. We hope you find a place of authentic community which exists to glorify God by making disciples who work together to fulfill the Great Commission! We know that looking for a new church or trying one for the first time can be daunting or exciting. So, feel free to be our guest for a Sunday or two to get a “taste test.”
We are working on an exciting Mother’s Day service. The date we have chosen is Sunday, May 12, 2024 at 10:30AM! (I know, a sorry attempt at humor.) This will be a great day to get your updated “Family Photo,” honor your Mother, and build great memories!
Ephesians 6:1-3 NIV “Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. 2 “Honor your father and mother”—which is the first commandment with a promise— 3 “so that it may go well with you and that you may enjoy long life on the earth..” These are verses that remind us that God has a wonderful plan for FAMILY! Blessings are connected to this wonderful plan!
Now, a little about what you can expect! Our kids meet downstairs during the worship hour in Kids Central with a team of well-qualified leaders. We think kids should be able to experience Jesus in a fun, safe, age-appropriate way, where the word of God is preached on their level. Then, they come to a new understanding of Jesus!
Our Sunday Worship time is 10:30 am. The music is upbeat and engaging, and the word of God is challenging and convicting. If you decide to try us, stop by our Welcome Desk upon arrival, someone will show you around the facility, help your kids get checked in to Kids Central and answer any questions you may have and kindly give you a gift. You can then grab a cup of coffee and see what God offers.
